A unique looking tea, Kukicha contains stems and stalks from the production of Sencha. It has a light, transparent green color with a mildly sweet, with a herbaceous character.
It is a great example of the diversity in Japanese Green Tea. This Tea is hand-plucked and hand-cut with scissors before the stems are separated. Not to be confused with brown, "twig-style" Kukicha, this unfermented green Tea is produced from leaf stems.
A fragrant, mellow green Tea which is naturally low in caffeine.

Use Warm to Hot (140º - 160ºF.) water.
Steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
